Antique Finish by itself is not completely water repellent which is why a finishing coat is recommended. In addition to acrylic resolene you can also use leather sheen or leather balm with atom wax. This product also works well for shoes and all leathercraft and can be blended with other shades to create new colors. This antique finish also adds emphasis to handtooling and embossing.
