Description: Hello - this is from a local estate.It is a West German made "Franzen" brandfull leather briefcase. It is a brown - beige color.As with all leather items - there a variationsin the leather - some areas are lighter - and some areas are darker. This has a "darker" area on the top - on the lefthand side. It may have been caused by a hot coffee cup - I do not know - but - none the less - it is there!!!! There are no other "flaws" except for the dark spot. The latches lock as designed. There is a small piece of paper that tells you how to change the combination. The handle is LARGE and well shaped - you could comfortably carry this a long way with substantial weight - if needed. The inside is pretty typical of all Franzen made briefcases. Lots of pockets, dividers, flaps, pen holders, business card,holders, etc. Probably more than you would ever use!! All are MINTY - with no broken seams, etc. The INSIDE measurements are 16.5 inches wide by 12 inches depth, and 3 inches in height. So - on the large side as far as briefcases go.
