Frederick Hart (1943-1999) learned sculpting and stonecutting as an apprentice at the Washington National Cathedral. He ultimately designed the facade of the incredible building. Hart also designed the "Three Soldiers bronze sculpture" for the Vietnam Veteran's memorial in DC. He was a proponent of realism style. This "Genesis" statue was first produced in 1988. The piece you are bidding on is #173 in the 350 limited edition. It is beautiful condition except for some silver wear on the finger as shown speciifcally in the pics. It measures 9.5 inches high.
