Description: Up for sale is this cut glass Galway decanter with matching stopper. The pattern is called Clifden and features a cut pattern around the body with cross hatch near the base and vertical cuts coming up the sides. It also has thumbprint ovals around the shoulder and finally fluted depressions around the neck. The base has a sunburst design. The eight-sided stopper features a trapped air bubble. I cannot feel any chips around either the stopper or the throat of the decanter. The base is signed - it is hard to photograph, but see the last picture - did the best I could. There is some light white calcification on the interior - probably easy to clean by someone with the proper knowledge and/or experience. Including the stopper the overall height is about 11-1/2". The base diameter is about 3-3/4".
