Gladiator, the 2000 Ridley Scott directed (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award) English/U.S. Rome Italy sword-and-sandal historical adventure epic ("What we do in life echoes in eternity."; "A hero will rise"; Best Picture Academy Award winner) stars Russell Crowe (in his Best Actor Academy Award winning title role), Joaquin Phoenix (in his nominated for Best Supporting Actor Academy Award role), Connie Nielsen, Oliver Reed, Derek Jacobi, Djimon Hounsou, and Richard Harris. Note that these are "international" style lobby cards (meaning they were printed in the U.S. for use in non-U.S. countries). Note the lack of a ratings box and the "United International Pictures" on the cards, at the time of this film's release in 2000 there were no lobby cards used anymore inside the USA and haven't been since the mid 1980's. I got several of these sets and some Saving Private Ryan sets direct from my UK source and they are not reprints and obviously so upon receipt. I GUARANTEE THEY ARE ORIGINAL.
