Description: A sterling silver tablespoon in the Gorham "Fontainebleau" pattern of 1880, 8 1/4 inches long, unmonogrammed, marked with the old Gorham trademark STERLING and COPYRIGHTED (on the side of the handle--juist visible in last picture), 2 troy ounces, in good antique condition with slight peening of the tip, surface scuffs in the bowl and softening of the highpoints of the pattern, but otherwise without dents, breaks or repairs. This is a multi-motif pattern with medieval characters--this one carrying a tureen or large serving dish.TW
