They could be touched up with paint, but it doesn't really stand out. I purchased this pin 20-25 years ago at a juried art show, but I can't remember the artist's name. There is glitter in some of the paint which makes the snow and moon sparkle. All of my items are carefully packed for shipping, no matter their value - $5 items are wrapped with the same care as a $200 item. My goal is to have your purchase arrive safely. I use recycled packaging when possible but mostly use new, high-quality products so your item will arrive intact without damage. Large, heavy and fragile items are harder to use combined shipping with but just ask if you would like to purchase more than one item and I am more than happy to do so if feasible. If not, maybe we can work out a shipping discount. Measurements are approximate or as close as I can get. Also, the color you see many not be the exact color depending on your computer or phone settings. I do my best to make sure that the colors look as accurate as possible on my end.
