Description: This is "The Marble Faun" by Nathaniel Hawthorne, in a first limited edition (thus) in two volumes, #1413 or 1500 copies, published by the Limited Editions Clud in 1931. This edition of Hawthorne's classic is illustrated by Carl Strauss, and signed by the illustrator on the limitation page of the second volume. Condition of these volumes is Very Good to Very Good Plus; the external front hinge of Volume I is cracked, but holding well. There is some discoloration to the spines at the past-down labels.
