Good unused vintage condition. 1 postcard features several different photos, the other a dama dama deer. 1000 Animals in Lake Placid NY was home to many local and exotic fur and game animals including baby bears, otters, Aleutian and Black minks, Chimpanzees, Arctic white, Greenland blue, Alaska black and silver foxes, deer from India, japan, and England, Persian lambs, karakul sheep, African mt. Sheep, fishers, bob cats, badgers, Mexican honey bears and many others. It was established in 1915 and was a popular tourist destination in the Adirondack Park. I am a huge collector of all things art/history/amusement park related in the Adirondacks, as I grew up here and so I have a huge collection I am selling off.
