Description: This is a Hubley 500 Series Tractor Trailer log truck. It has been restored. This truck was purchased at a Flea Market and was in decrepit condition. It had very little paint, a dented cab, bent frame on the trailer as well as missing tires. The decision was made to restore it. The truck was completely disassembled, all of the paint was stripped off and repairs were made to the cab and trailer. It was then repainted (color as close as possible to original orange) with primer and three finish coats. Tires were cleaned and replaced as required. A set of logs and chains was added. If you are a "Connoisseur" collector whose only interest is in original untouched toys, then this is not your toy. However, if you would like to display a toy in you collection that looks "almost" the way it did when it left the production line in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, then this is your toy.
