Comic is graded in near mint- (NM-) condition according to the Overstreet Price Guide grading guidelines. Check scans closely for condition and defects. Subtle bindery defects and/or stresses are allowed. Corners are cut square and sharp with ever-so-slight blunting allowed. Spine is tight and flat; no spine roll or split allowed. Cover is flat with no surface wear. Staples are generally centered: may have slight discoloration but no rust and/or rust migration. No staple tears are allowed; almost no stress lines. No tears allowed on cover. A 1/16-inch to 1/8-inch bend is allowed with no color break. No creases. Slight interior tears are allowed-it was common for very slight tears to be present along the lower margins of interior pages from this era of comics [a printing process defect that was caused when the paper was pulled through the printing press; a very common printing defect from this era of comics]. Note: several minor bindery stresses along spine edge on front cover. Comic is clean and flat. Cover gloss is superb; inks are bright with high reflectivity. Pages are white. Comic ships in a comic bag with backing board securely and safely within a Gemini cardboard mailer for $5.95, which includes tracking number and insurance. Larger orders of comics/magazines will ship in a small box. Note: Larger orders may ship USPS Media mail, UPS Ground or Fed-Ex Ground, whichever is cheaper, since most larger orders would typically qualify for the free shipping method [paid by me].[Note: with the rising costs to collector supplies not all comics will be boarded in larger orders but all will definitely be bagged].
