This is a medal bar for a soldier (of officer) in the Hungarian Land Forces (Peoples Republic era of 1949-1989). these are very rare to find in the USA. it has a long pin back suspension on brass backing. the medals are: Medal of Military Merit, Order of Defense of the Homeland Class 1, 25 Years Exemplary Service, 20 Years Exemplary Service, Order of Defense of the Homeland Class 2, and 15 Years Exemplary Service. 3.5" x 0.875". lucite and brass.
