Description: INTER-MIX 30 Flow able Seam SealerIs a semi-flexible, self leveling seam sealer designed for sealing roof seams and drip rails on Ford Escort, Aerostar, Explorer and various other horizontal sealing applications. Designed to fl ow out and self-level. Excellent adhesion to: bare metal, primed metal, SMC, FRP, fiberglass, aluminum and most plastics. DIRECTIONS 1. Surface must be clean and free of dirt, grease, oil, rust, old seam sealer and any other contaminants. Use IES 1700/4700/1780 solvent to clean the surface. 2. Prime all bare metal with 2K epoxy or 2K urethane primer. Allow primer to cure according to manufacturer’s recommendations. Acid-etch primers should never be in direct contact with seam sealers. 3. Scuff-sand the primer with 400-grit sandpaper or a scuff pad and wipe with a clean cloth. 4. Follow the IES dual cartridge set up instructions for loading cartridge into the dispensing gun. 5. Using IES #8411, #8412 or #8413 Non-Sag Seam Sealers, create a short dam 4” to 6” from the windshield back and level with a notched-out spreader. 6. Dispense IES Self Leveling Seam Sealer onto the surface. 7. IES Self Leveling Seam Sealer will set up in approximately 30 minutes. 8. Allow 60 minutes then scuff or sand sealer with 320 grit sandpaper prior to priming or painting. 9. Prime and paint per manufacturer’s specifications. CAUTION For professional use only.
