The needlepoint all-wool and gold metallic stitching is well done in multi-colors, but predominantly wine and pale aqua and the background is an ecru or off-white. This is lined in natural color all-cotton muslin and the back is off-white velveteen. The stocking measures about 15 inches in length and is about 6.5 inches wide. The face and skin areas are hand-painted and are not stitched and I believe this is original to the piece. Dry cleaning is recommended.
