Boyle's fixup comprised of revised stories featuring his safe-cracking jewel thief. Boyle's inscription reads, "with the hope that somewhere in these pages there is a character worthy of your artistry on the screen." Just one year after this inscription, Seddon would play a character from this book--Mother McGinn--in the 1924 film Through the Dark. Very Good / Good.
