Description: Four inch tall brush pot. These are often attributed as very early Namikawa, with similar enamels as found on pieces at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Without documentation, however, the only thing we can be certain of is that it is an early Meiji piece, and one that is very well done, packed with detail for such a small item.
