JL BLIN PARIS MEGA RARE BRONZE & CRYSTAL DESIGNER HAUTE COUTURE RIVIÈRE NECKLACE This stunning necklace from JL Blin Paris is a true vintage designer piece, featuring a beautiful combination of bronze and colored crystals. The necklace has a rare and unique design, it is a rivière style collar with three rows. It is perfect for any occasion. The multicolor shades of blue and green in the glass stones make this necklace a truly standout and elegant piece, and it is sure to turn heads wherever you go. Some of the rhinestones are bezel set in individual collet and others in their own collet and held in place by small prongs. The round faceted stones are man-made rhinestone in shades of blue and green glass. The bronze colored surface of the bezel collet metal setting of the first row is textured and enhanced with shades of blue and green enamel complementing the blue and green rhinestones to give a tasteful and luxurious vintage look. The second row comprises rich deep sapphire blue faceted rhinestones each in a bronze metal collet setting. The stones are held in place by prongs. The third and shortest strand is a row of palest blue rhinestones, each set in it’s own collet and held in place by tiny prongs. The necklace is signed JL BLIN PARIS on a cartouche on the underside of the necklace. It fastens with a fold over latch. This vintage piece is mega rare and highly coveted by collectors of Jean-Louis Blin jewelry. It is a must-have for any fashion-forward woman, and it is sure to become a favorite in your collection. Dimensions: The necklace is 16 ½” long from end to end. This is the measurement of the shortest row when laid flat in a straight line. The necklace is slightly curved when being worn as each row is a different length allowing it to hug the neckline although laying flat like a collar. It is approximately 1 ¾” in width. (See pictures with measurements to assist). The piece is fairly heavy and weighs 139grams. Condition: This piece is pre-owned Haute Couture designer and has been gently worn. It is in excellent vintage condition and was created in France CIRCA 1960-70’s. It was purchased at an estate sale in Texas in mid 1980’s. It has not been worn since being purchased, and has been carefully stored in dust free temperature controlled storage facility. There is no damage to any rhinestone. All stones are original. The underside of the necklace has slight age related wear near the ends where it fastens. Aside from that it is in excellent vintage condition. The fold over latch fastens securely. Please take a look at the pictures. Structurally, the necklace is in fairly well preserved and in overall excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of age as noted above. This is a very beautiful and chic old piece. You will be pleased with purchase. PLEASE REMEMBER, THAT MOST VINTAGE PIECES ARE FRAGILE DUE TO AGE and should be gently worn and handled with care.
