Description: 12" blade and 17" overall. Stag handle has shrunk, making the ferrule loose. The ferrule looks to be silver but is not marked. Stainless steel started being used in cutlery about 1919, so this knife probably dates 1919 to 1936. King George V was King from 1910-1936. He was in between King Edward VII and VIII. The G and R on either side of the crown in the trademark stand for George V and Rex( or King).
