Description: This beautiful antique mantle clock from Junghans features the iconic Westminster chime sequence and is made of high-quality wood. The clock is crafted in Germany and has a mechanical movement. The display type is analog and the style is antique. The clock comes with a key and is perfect for collectors or as a decorative piece. The B20 mark places the clock movement to the late 1920s so it will soon be 100 years old. This clock is working well! It has a service date in 2005. I do not know if it has been serviced since then. The clockmaker servicing it is shown in the pictures. The clock chimes the Westminster sequence every 1/4 hour. One fourth of the chime sequence plays at 15 minutes. One half of the chime sequence plays on the 30 minutes. Three fourths of the chime sequence plays at the 45 minutes. The full sequence plays on the 60 minutes hour followed by the appropriate number of gongs. The chimes can be stopped by moving the lever on the back of the clock.
