Description: Offered for sale is a large sterling silver brooch with a beautifully designed bird and berry design. Though others have offered this as being a carved agate, it is made of molded glass and set in a heavy sterling bezel. Please study the pictures provided. It is of a jade green color that has a bluish cast when viewed in person. The pin measures a bit over 2" wide and 1 1/2" high with total weight of almost 19 grams. Marked 925 with an adjacent unidentified hallmark which looks like a 3 turreted castle. Though pre-owned, this lovely fine jewelry piece is without damage.
