Description: For your consideration, I am offering a special pair of Levi’s 501 jeans, sized 34W x 33” L. These were made at the last remaining, Levi’s-owned factory, located in San Antonio, TX. Kindly note the 554 stamped button code, indicating this particular factory. These were ordered by myself, back in 2002, so I could obtain the unusual 33” inseam length, which was available through the custom Levi’s program called ‘Original Spin’, as that inseam length was not typically offered by Levi’s. Also worthy of note, these also feature the double stitched, lap-felled inseam which was extremely durable, and quite typical in that era, but was discontinued soon after, as Levi’s reintroduced their ‘original’, single-stitched inseam treatment. They also seem to fit just a slightly more ‘relaxed’ than the more contemporary 501 offerings. I think I have read they tweak their patterns every few years or so. Anyway, just a slight fullness. NOT baggie, by any means. Just nice. I have carefully stored these jeans in my home ever since that time, and as a result, they are quite literally new-old-stock, as I later decided not to wear them. Please note the factory finish is original, as I have never washed them myself. Simply inspected and stashed away for future consideration. The denim is also noticeably heavier, as both the jeans, as well as the denim fabric itself, was made here in the USA. Thanks for looking.
