These Bass are juveniles, are 2-4 months old and range from 2-5 inches from head to tail. In the wild, Largemouth Bass eat minnows, crayfish, frogs, snails, worms, snakes, and other insects. You will receive Bass that were fed minnows, small goldfish, and snails. These bass are not feed trained but is still possible to change their diet because of their young age. These fish can grow to 35 inches long and weight 20 pounds if they are in a good environment! Bass thrive better alone in a well planted aquarium with hiding spots to make the Bass feel safe and stay healthy. It isn’t recommended to put other fish/crustaceans that will get eaten or hurt by the Bass. Some examples are guppy, shrimp, crayfish, snails, frogs, goldfish, and other small fish. A good amount of food is necessary for these Bass to thrive in your tank. Please note that fish won’t eat food right away after they are placed in your tank. Remember to acclimate the fish to your water and give it time to rest due to the stress shipment caused.
