DESCRIPTION:The C5 Corvette regulator/ filter is the tried and true method of providing all LS-based motors with the 58psi base pressure they require. Usually mounted close to the tank, this regulator has a fixed (non adjustable) fuel pressure of 58psi, and also provides inline filtration between the fuel pump and the injector rail. Both the feed (from the tank) and the return will connect to one side, and the single outlet will go to the injector rail on the motor. Includes mounting bracket and grounding strap as shown. This is an OE style filter-regulator as used in the 1999-2004 C5 Corvette. The combination fuel filter and bypass regulator sends 58 PSI (4 BAR) to your fuel rail and returns unused gas to the tank via the return port.Inlet is 6AN; return to tank is 6AN; outlet to engine is 6ANYour electric fuel pump works continuously & this bypass regulator transfers excess fuel back into the tank so the pump can run freely. (A "dead head" regulator creates back pressure on the fuel pump which can cause wear & premature pump failure.) This filter-regulator is commonly installed near the tank so that only a short return line is required.
