Description: MONROE Electro Mechanical Adding Machine Model MA7 213 30s-40s w/ Cord Untested. This is a beautiful Monroe adding machine. I believe it is a Model MA7 213 manufactured in the late 1930s through the 1940s. It comes with the cord but is untested. I don’t know how to operate it and did not want to damage anything so I did not clean, wipe, or attempt to use the machine. The machine did not make any noise or give an indication of power when plugged in, so I cannot guarantee it works. Buttons all seem responsive. Keys are grimy and need cleaning. Again, I do not feel qualified to attempt that. There are rubber gaskets around the bottom and sides of the front plate that are brittle and breaking in some spots as pictured.
