This engine is in excellent new condition. This engine was an Exclusive Engine purchased years ago at Trainworld . It has never been used. It was test run and returned to the box. The list price was $399.99. MTH installed the incorrect smoke unit in this engine. MTH has the corrective method that the smoke can be repaired. Most of the train operators just turn the smoke unit OFF. This engine will be sold in the AS IS condition because I have no way of knowing if the purchaser accidentally turns the smoke unit on and damages the engine. If you run this engine in conventional mode, there should be no problem running this engine. If you run in DCC there is a chance that the smoke unit will be turned on, even if the smoke switch is in the off position.
