Description: NCE BD20 Block Occupancy Detector 524-205 01 to 20 amps. Detects presence of train in block by the current it draws in a range from 0.01 to 20 amps. No electrical connection to track, simply route track feeder wire through holes in tombstone current. Does not reduce track voltage or get hot. Easily connects to Auxiliary Input Unit (524-200, sold separately) or most signal systems. Detects DCC track current being drawn through a single track feeder. Isolated so there is no direct electrical connection to the track. Needs no external power for most operations. Can be connected to the NCE AIU01 or Mini Panel. Can light up LED or operate a relay when used with external DC power (5-12 Volts). Suitable for DCC track power up to 20 Amps.
