I bought this sweater because it reminded me of the very old Rangers jerseys with the lighter blue they used to have way back when. Most likely I bought this in the late 1980s or 1990s. Sort of retro before retro became the thing it is now. As in the old days, this is more of a sweater than a modern, well ventilated, jersey. It'll keep you warmer rather than move air away from you. The lettering and NYR Logo on the sleeve are applied in some fashion. I'd say it's an average, not heavy, sweater, more like a sweat shirt. It weighs just over 1 pound. A Rangers fan since the mid-1960s, I have so many Rangers Jerseys I didn't wear it often. The time has come to share my collection with my fellow fans. Let's Go Rangers!!!
