Description: This vintage Nikon EM 35mm SLR film camera was originally sold between 1979 and 1982. It is a basic no nonsense camera featuring an easy to use automatic exposure mode. It comes with the classic Nikon 50mm f1.8 manual focus lens. Made in Japan, it features the solid Nikon build quality you expect from this premium Japanese brand. We were thrilled to find this good clean example of the EM and testing it out, found it very easy to use. It is compact, lightweight and solid in the hand. This camera is designed to shoot in automatic exposure mode. You chose the aperture and Nikon chooses the shutter speed. Every shot on our test roll had a proper exposure. The 50mm 1.8 is sharp and easy to focus. Vintage Nikon always rocks the party! See some shots we took from the test roll in the photo gallery. Condition: This vintage 40 year old camera is in good working condition. The lens has no fungus or major scratches. There is some minor dust as pictured. The exposure compensation button is a bit erratic at first but it settles down with a good press.
