Norton Commando 1973-77, (1) ONE, Left or Right Rectangular, 3/8"x24 UNF Mirror

Description: This listing is for ONE (1) aftermarket, UK produced, rectangle mirror to fit the front disc brake Norton Commando models manufactured from 1973 to 1977. This is a copy of the popular rectangle mirrors fitted to the 850 Commando. The original OEM part this will replace is part # 06-4102. The mirror comes with one stem, which has the 3/8" X 24 UNF proper mounting thread. The 3/8" x 24 stem is correct for all threaded Norton master cylinders and threaded clutch lever brackets. When installing into an unthreaded clutch lever bracket you can tap the hole to 3/8"x 24 or drill the hole larger and install a 3/8"x 24 lock nut on the end. The stem measures approximately 8" in length, the mirror length is 5.50" with a width of 3.50". This is a nicely chromed mirror and stem. A black plastic mounting base surrounds the mirror glass. It has stainless adjustable mounting hardware. Please check your mounting point on the switch clusters of your bike, it should be 3/8" x 24 . Early front disc brake 750 and 850 models have no threaded hole to screw the mirror into the front brake assembly. You will have to use a "clamp on" or "bar end" mirror... or replace your brake reservoir assembly with part # 06-3667. Some Commandos came with a rubber blanking plug, # 06-3668 inserted into the threaded hole. Pull out the plug and screw in the mirror.Included is ONE (1) rectangle mirror with adjustable mounting hardware and ONE (1) chrome 3/8" stem with a locking crown nut.Email with your year, make and model of motorcycle if you are unsure of fitment.
