The painting is an original American oil painting depicting a farm, a house, a red barn, trees, and a wagon in a landscape (see photos). The oil painting is the work of a talented artist. The painting is signed by the artist: Irma Keehn (whom I found reference to exhibiting a few times at the Art Institute of Chicago in the 1940s - see photos). I believe Irma was the mother of William H Keehn and other artists in the family. The painting is painted on canvas laid upon Masonite type board panel (see photos). The painting is old and vintage. The painting is framed in a simple metal picture frame. The item is from an estate liquidation. This item measures in total framed about 14+ inches high, and it is about 18+ inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame measures about 14 inches high, and it is about 23 inches wide. This painting is sold in as is as found estate condition. The frame has some scuffs and wear. The painting has crazing to the painting and paint, some reworking by the artist's family of fellow artists and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
