Description: Artist: Pablo Picasso (1881-1973) Title: "La Ronde de la Jeunesse (The Youth Circle)" Medium: Original lithograph on Arches paper (with block Arches watermark in paper) Created by Picasso in 1961; published by Mouvement de la Paix and printed by Mourlot, Paris. Signature: Hand Signed in pencil by Picasso at lower right; also signed within the plate/image. The lithograph is in its original vintage gold frame and although signs of wear due to age on frame, it is in overall good condition. Framed size: 26.5 x 20.5 inches; image/opening size 19 x 21.5 inches. Edition: Limited edition of only 200 impressions. Numbered 104 of 200 at lower left in pencil. There was also a later poster edition with text. This is the rare first edition before the lettering. Condition: In good condition with full margins and bold colors; framed behind glass with linen matting. Provenance: Purchased from Merrill Chase Galleries, Chicago circa 1988.
