I have been told the original stones were from Norton Co. A little cotton or tissue in the bottom of the sheath pocket will allow you to finally replace the missing stone for your cherished pilot survival knife at a reasonable cost. without a little filler in the bottom of the pocket it is more difficult to remove the stone. This stone made in China.
