Description: ULTRA-RARE 1925 Bugatti Type 36 Grand Prix Model Classic Collectibles 1:10 #18 *READ* This is a very rare hand-built limited edition model, developed using original factory drawings by renowned car designer John M Mellberg. The edition was entirely made in the mid-1990s. This was to be the first in a series from Classic Collectibles, which unfortunately ceased production shortly after starting. The planned edition was to be 500 pieces, though it is believed that only about 100 or less were actually made. Not the best choice of a Bugatti to model, and not highly detailed, but it looked very good and presented well, each also came with a display case. Numbered #18 of 500 - Plate reads Last sale at Sotheby's was in excess of $1,500.00 This model is missing it's windscreen, and previous owner states a repair was done to the gear lever, as can be seen in the photos. All leather hood straps are in good condition, and I can find no other issues with this model. Paint is in very good / excellent condition.
