RARE: Pan Am Airlines Feudor Lighter Vintage “Say hello to Pan Am.” France

Description: This listing is for a rarely listed Pan Am Airlines lighter produced by Feudor and made in France. This item is from an estate from a woman who worked for Pan Am from the mid 1950s to the mid 1980s. This lighter has an off-white color background and the design depicts, on one side, a cowboy riding atop a Pan Am jet. The jet is the distinctive blue and white. The cowboy has a red shirt and appears to be holding his ticket in one hand. The opposite side of the item says, “Say hello to Pan Am.” The hood of the lighter has a silver tone metal, and the button is a black plastic. The spark wheel and lighter components are hidden beneath these parts. The plastic body of the lighter and the base are black on the edge. The underside is marked, as molded into the plastic, “Feudor. Made in France. Bte SDGD.” The edge of the silver tone hood also is stamped, “Feudor.” The side of the lighter with the text has as many as six light marks. See photos. There is some surface scratching on the metal hood – to be expected with age. The design and text have strong colors and the design is in excellent condition without scratches. The lighter measures 2 3/4” tall by 1 3/8” wide by 1/2” deep. Does not light. Please see all photos to supplement this description.
