Description: Rare Vintage Altamont Jimi Hendrix "Night Bird" Art Mens Hoodie Large Incredibly rare! Any fan of Jimi Hendrix or Altamont skateboard apparel will want this. Altamont's first apparel line in 2006/07 reached an agreement with the Jimi Hendrix family to use some of Jimi's personal original art into the collection. This hoodie used Jimi's art called "Night Bird". This art was screen printed onto the inside back of the hoodie and onto the outside of the hood. This style also incorporates Jimi's signature by embroidering it on the front pocket. This hoodie has been in my personal storage since 2006. This is a medium weight hoodie. More fashionable than heavy athletic sweatshirt fleece. Colors are very vibrant. Many stitching details. Custom Altamont zipper pull. Please note the rib cuffs are slightly frayed as a result of the chemical wash used years ago. Otherwise this hoodie is in excellent new condition. Also note that this is a size large sales sample although the price ticket says medium. Hendrix art is very rare and usually only found in his biographies or 60's art books. I have never seen it used in fashion. A truly unique and Collectible piece.
