Description: This “Rare” vintage Schlitz Old Milwaukee beer bottle is a true gem for collectors. Made by Anchor Hocking Glass Co, this ruby red glass and vintage “Stubbie” beer bottle design, is a sure way to catch the eye of anyone who sees it. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States in 1962, this bottle is a piece of history that would make a great addition to any collection. They started using the ruby red “stubby” bottle in the early 1940s and stopped using the red bottle in 1963. With that said, this makes this bottle extremely rare and hard to find with the label still intact! The bottle has a 12 oz. capacity and features the iconic Schlitz Old Milwaukee logo on the still intact label! There is a small tear in the label as you can see in the pictures. Other than that, there is no visible damage that I can see. It's perfect for display and is definitely a conversation starter! Schlitz and Anchor Hocking teamed up in the late 40s and jumped on the bandwagon with the stubby style bottle, but decided to go with a ruby red color and stand out, which is just stunning in the light! Don't miss out on the chance to own this piece of American brewing history. There is no reserve! Happy bidding!
