Description: Set 3 Hazel Chintz Jugs Dimensions are approximately: Tallest height to spout: 14cms (5 5/8" ins) Tallest length handle to spout: 16.5cms (6 1/2" ins) Capacity: 2 2/3 cups/22oz/700ml Middle height to spout: 13cms (5 1/4" ins) Middle length handle to spout: 15cms (6" ins) Capacity: 2 cups/16oz/500ml Small height to spout: 11.5cms (4 1/2" ins) Small length handle to spout: 13.5cms (5 1/4" ins) Capacity: 1 1/2 cups/12oz/350ml This rare vintage set of three graduated jugs was produced by established English china company Royal Winton/Grimwades circa 1930's. The three jugs are decorated with the charming Hazel chintz pattern featuring a mottled black background with pink & yellow roses, yellow daffodils, white narcissi edged with lilac tulips and purple wisteria completes this gorgeous floral abundance. The shape is Countess which is very similar to Globe. Countess having the wider lip and spout. Jugs pour freely and no drips. The set is of good quality English china and should last many years yet, with care. A future heirloom to pass down... Items are just as collectable today as in the past... As the years pass, these lovely vintage items become more precious... pieces are damaged, lost or collections are broken up.
