This is absolutely one of the sweetest mitts you will ever put on your hand ! If you are looking for a professional USA made Heart of the Hide first base mitt that is perfectly broken in and has an incredible deep pocket this is it ! The glove is fully broken in and it is totally game ready ! The glove feels wonderful on the hand and it has a really nice patina to it ! If I were playing first base I would have no problem using this mitt ! The glove also has an incredible pocket as you can clearly see in the photos ! So once the ball enters the pocket of this glove it is not going to pop out ! Checkout the 4th and the 5th photos how the glove wraps itself around a regulation size baseball ! The pocket of this glove is so large that the baseball actually bounces around a little bit in its closed pocket ! So the pocket of this glove is very large and it was more than likely formed for softball ! The 6th photo shows how the glove looks in the closed position without a ball in the pocket while the 8th and the 9th photos show how the glove wraps itself around a full size 12 inch round softball and the 10th photo shows how the glove can cradle 2 full size 12 inch round softballs at one time ! The inner lining is in excellent condition as the glove is extremely comfortable to the hand and the fingers all the way up through the finger stalls ! As far as fitting goes, this glove fits comfortably on my average adult size hand and the glove feels wonderful in the 2 in the pinky hold ! There is no ink or marker anywhere on the glove !
