Rolex Submariner 1680 Vintage SERVICED

Description: Hello eBay fans ! Selling this amazing Rolex Submariner reference 1680 for a friend who's in his late 70's and does not do much of the internet. The watch comes as in the pictures and nothing else. Please see the pictures we tried to capture and ask questions. The pictures are part of the description, and NO RETURNS are accepted. According to the serial number this watch is from 1978 or 1979. Serial number is there just hidden in the picture digitally. The watch movement was serviced and it shows how well it does in the timegrapher as you can see in the pictures and it does keep great time: 291 amplitude and 2 to 4 spd rate, and 0.1 beat error. Since it is an old watch -vintage- the watch is NOT guaranteed to be near water. The dial has beautiful markers. Neither the dial markers nor the hands have any light at night. The date wheel is silver with open numbers 6's and 9's with a "flat" 3. The insert has a very beautiful "serif" numbers. Also a flat 4 in the insert. This 1680 has what people call "top hat" which is the acrylic crystal that you can see from the sides pictures how it looks like a hat; some replacement crystals used in other 1680's are "slanted" and not "top hat". Not mayor scratches in the crystal but just light signs of use. The case is very sharp with signs of use with some light scratches. There are some scratches on the top of the left lower lug. There are faint scratches underside the lugs from bracelet swaps. The crown screws in and out without any issues. A pic of the tube with the crown out in the setting time position is provided. The bracelet has stretch from normal use however wears perfectly. The bracelet number is 93150 with the clasp VE code (please see the pic) and end links 580 marked. Thank you very much for bidding !
