Sega Game Gear VA1 Model 2110 Complete in Box CIB Sonic 2 Bundle, FULLY RECAPPED

Description: Sega Game Gear VA0 Model 2110 Gray, Fully Recapped, Clean, TESTED! Works Great This is a VA1 (Single ASIC) Sega Game Gear console, in Gray. I have recapped fully and cleaned the system. Comes with BOX, MANUALS/INSERTS, SONIC 2 GAME, AND WRIST STRAP. Here is a summary of my work (performed on 30Oct24) to make this console last as long as possible below!I replaced every single capacitor on the main motherboard, sound board, and power board. The recap process was smooth and without issue.Just as an extra note: Prior to recap, the system had leaking capacitors on the main board. The board was cleaned up and motherboard pads re-tinned with fresh solder. Capacitors were added without issue. Capacitor fluid broke one trace on the board. I fixed this trace with a wire. All other traces near critical leaking caps were checked with a multimeter and thoroughly cleaned/scrubbed to ensure that virtually no capacitor fluid was left behind.Before and during recap, I cleaned the boards to remove flux and capacitor leakage.Reflowed the audio wheel to ensure good contact so that using the audio wheel does not result in any static.Replaced the screen lens.Cleaned the outside of the shell to remove most grime.Please note there are a couple dead pixels. They are hard to see as it truly is just a couple but the screen is not perfect. It's in pretty good condition for the age though. Note the condition of the box as well. It does have a few minor tears/marks/scratches. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS! The console works fully, with the buttons and cartridge slot working great. Headphone jack works and all wheels work well. Screen looks good (as good as an OEM Game Gear screen could look) with only a couple dead pixels in the game window. Cosmetically, the console looks pretty good with a but with a typical marks / scratches from years of play. I have tested with Super Columns and Sonic 2, and the system played without issue. Audio is crisp and loud. The console has been tested for about thirty minutes run time total. Please look at photos to see physical condition. Condition is overall classified as "GOOD" overall in my opinion! Please note the box itself is in "FAIR" condition with some minor tears and wear. You will receive the recapped console in the photos, along with the manuals/papers, wrist strap, Sonic 2 game, plastic insert, and box. Console is complete.
