The clock is made of glass, plastic, jewels, and Swarovski crystals, and weighs 5 pounds with a width of 14 5/8 inches. It is a hanging wall clock with an analog display type and a quartz movement powered by battery. The clock features moving figurines, a pendulum, and a sound/talking function. It also has a night shut-off and a chime sequence of hourly. The Seiko Melodies In Motion clock is an original product from the 21st century, manufactured in Thailand, and is perfect for any room in your home including the garage, kitchen, bedroom, living room, sunroom, home office/study, hallway, dining room, and utility/laundry room. The clock hands are not working. The character movements, crystal movements, and musical movements have been tested and they function as intended. There are some cosmetic blemishes such as scratches on the bottom of the clock and just above the button that produces the musical chime, labeled 'Hi-Fi Sound'. The inside of the glass shows very little debris such as dust. The battery compartment that holds C batteries show a little bit of corrosion. It was cleaned out a bit and this corrosion does not interfere with its function. The AA battery compartment was tested, but it does not appear to be working.
