SFF Windows 98 Retro Gaming Computer Pentium 4 GeForce 6200 ITX Hyte Revolt 3

Description: This is a custom Windows 98 PC assembled by myself. It uses an industrial mini ITX socket 478 Pentium 4 motherboard with single PCI slot. Read my issues section below for the system's various idiosyncracies. Graphics: PCI GeForce 6200 256MB occupying the only PCI slot (NOT AGP GRAPHICS!!) RAM: 512MB DDR 400 Processor: 3ghz Pentium 4 with hyperthreading disabled in BIOS Sound: onboard AC 97 Hard drive: 64MB compact flash card bottom mount in bracket OS: Windows 98SE which shows is Windows ME in the system properties because the unofficial USB stack is installed for flash drive access. I swapped the CPU fan for a small Noctua fan and the case fans are Noctua as well. The drivers for various onboard devices are in a folder on the desktop called "drivers". Back it up if you don't want to hunt for them as I did. Issues: •the case has done scratches, scuffs. I put some photos of them in the listing. •front headphone audio doesn't work on the case. The board only supports audio through rear label or front, not both. •The ACPI function doesn't work and sometimes causes the system to hang on shutdown. I played around in the registry to add a value for it but shutdown hangs on a black screen with cursor or triggers reboot. The motherboard may be too new. •Scandisk after bad shutdown is disabled in Msconfig because the ACPI issues make Windows think every shutdown is bad. •I do not have the I/O plate for this motherboard which you can see in the picture of the bottom of the case. All of the I/O faces down so this is not a huge issue as you will not see it. It's neat as a small form factor 98 build but isn't without the issues as mentioned above; understand what you're getting into running Windows 98 on hardware from beyond it's support period!!
