Description: Shawnee Pottery Smiley the Pig Cookie Jar 1940s Green Bandana. Measurements are estimates to the nearest inch. His feet were painted brown, but the paint has been chipping off. The bottom has some crazing. As shown in photos. The rim of the lid has a split, not really a crack, it doesn't go all the way through. Just like a split in the ceramic. There is what looks like a crack on the inside of the bottom, but it doesn't go all the way through, you can only see it from the outside. He is wearing a green bandana, this is the way I got him and I'm not sure how original this was, so I will leave it up to his new owner to decide if you want to keep it or not. It's a silk like cloth, possibly nylon? It might be silk, I'm not sure exactly but I can tell it is old. Overall he is in pretty good shape.
