Description: Quite a treasure. Signed on “Limited Edition Bookplate 379 of 2000” by Scott Carpenter (Mercury astronaut), Charles Conrad (MOONWALKER, Gemini, Apollo, and Skylab astronaut), Thomas Stafford (Gemini, Apollo, and Apollo-Soyuz Test Project astronaut), Alan Bean (MOONWALKER, Apollo, and Skylab astronaut), Edward Gibson (Skylab astronaut), and Sally Ride (FIRST UNITED STATES WOMAN IN SPACE, Space Shuttle astronaut). Bookplate was perfectly pasted inside the front cover. Book is in excellent condition. Only issue are some indentations to a 2” square area of the front the dust jacket between the Moon and the words of the subtitle. See pictures.
