He began his artistic career at the Centre d'Art in 1949 where he was encouraged to paint by the American sculptor Jason Seley. Painting is a group of figures in bright color. Signed with his initials on the lower left. Painting measures 8 x 10". There are very small chips at the edges which is typical for painting on board.
