There are light handling marks and scuffs throughout. The edges and corners have light wear and finish loss. There is tape residue going down the center all the way around, with some of the tape remaining on the bottom of the box. The coloring on the exterior is still good and the markings easy to read. It has the information about the former gun on the sides. The interior still has the liability and warranty information with the date of April 15, 1955. The edges on both the top and bottom have some light folds otherwise it is in good condition. This would be a great box to add to your vintage Chiefs Special revolver.
