Description: SNOW & NEALLEY CO BANGOR MAINE 1901 BILL OF SALE FOR VESSEL FLORENCE & LILLIAN Click images to enlarge Description Offered for Sale is the Bill of Sale of Enrolled Vessel / Schooner named Florence & Lillian to Snow & Nealley Co. The document is dated March 19, 1901. The bill of sale is for 1/32nd of the schooner. The document speaks to the sale via the administrator of the will of Humphrey Cressee (deceased) to Snow & Nealley (Nealley spelled wrong - one l). The vessel was built in 1874 in Leesburg NJ. The schooner had 1 deck, 3 mast, was 124 feet long. The vessel was enrolled at the port of Bridgeton NJ. The document has a Philadelphia Notary Seal along with a 10 cent Documentary Stamp. Documentation shows the vessel wrecked in September 1921 with an estimated value at the time of $40,000, carrying a cargo worth $6,000. This Wonderful Snow & Nealley Document would be a Great Addition to any Antique / Vintage Snow & Nealley Tool or Advertising Collection. History of Snow & Nealley Co: In 1864 a company is formed and after a series of name changes Charles Snow & Edward Nealley form Snow & Nealley, a supply company in Bangor Maine in 1888. Their business served the hard-working men who were logging Maine forests. Before the century was out, Edward Nealley would become Mayor of Bangor.
