Description: D6c no servicing done other then mod Serial: 56965 Current condition: It’s in good condition without many scratches or dents. The paint on the panel is coming off. The small pads on the bottom seem like they melted off over time. I’ve used it to make recordings over the past year and it’s sounds good although I don’t have a bench mark as I don’t own any other high end equipment. It’s also unique as you can only record through the mic in and not line in. W&F are almost perfect one belt change and it might be sub .1%. I've only done basic cleaning for head, pinch roller and headphone jack Background: I got this d6c about a year ago. The person who sold it to me didn’t say much but from the little I’ve looked up about this player he might have been a film maker mainly doing audio since he also sold vintage high end microphones. Modification: d6c crystal sync recorder The d6c was modified by The Film Group. If you need a more accurate description of what was done look up the modification as I don’t think I could do it justice as it is a lot of detail.
