Description: Antique Stanley No.55 Combination Plane, made in The U.S.A. with 3rd version of the "Sweetheart" logo dating it from 1920-35. In good original and unrestored condition, and supplied with one narrow flute cutter.Everything is straight and appears to be undamaged, all the various thumbscrews and adjusters operate well, and the wooden handles remain nice and tight on their mountings. Obviously it has a degree of wear and surface tarnishing as you would expect after a century or so and I believe there are some depth stops missing so I would urge you to study the pictures in detail to ascertain for yourself the condition and to determine any parts that are not present. I bought this a few years ago with the intention of restoring it but its just sat on a shelf since then so I am passing it on to someone who will enjoy it as part of their collection.
