Kenner's orange carded The Power Of The Force line launched in July of 1995 with nine Star Wars figures including Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO, R2-D2, Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi, Stormtrooper, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Princess Leia Organa. This lot includes two figures from this first wave. The first brand new Star Wars figures in the second wave came in February 1997 on a green card with a holographic image including Grand Moff Tarkin - the first time this figure was ever available! The green Power of the Force line ran for 1 more year before Hasbro/Kenner changed the series and packaging to the Freeze Frame cards.
